Overland daytrip tour from Siem Reap to Battambang
After breakfast (7:00 AM), depart Siem Reap for the overland journey (Approximately 3 hours) to Battambang province, the rice bowl of Cambodia. On arrival meet a local guide at Psa Nat market and having lunch at local restaurant WHITE ROSE. Afterward, take photos of some French colonial buildings and explore traditional livelihoods, such as dried bananas, fruit farming, rice paper making, and distilling of rice wine, Prahoc, Cambodian smelly fish paste making, Grolan, sticky rice stuffed in bamboo, and other Khmer treats. Next, have a coconut juice at the old traditional Khmer House.

The same afternoon drive to the countryside for a fun bamboo train ride. Nori, was previously used for transporting agricultural products and people, it is also one of our visitor’s favorite activities. The train is made of a wooden and bamboo carriage powered by a small engine. The maximum speed is around 15 km per hour and it can easily be disassembled when carriages come in the opposite direction. Afterward, Return to Siem Reap. End of service.
