DAY 1: ARRIVAL SIEM REAP (ROLOUS GROUP AND ANGKOR THOM)
8:00am, we will start a visit Rolous Group of temples: Preah Kor, Bakong, Lolei. These temples are built the early of Angkor perriod ( 802-1431). Preah Ko temple was built by King Indravarman I in 879. Bakong was built in 881 and Lolei was built by Yasovarman I in 893, lunch,
After lunch we visit Angkor Thom, the royal capital of the Khmer empire of the late 12th century. At the first stop, we will visit Bayon temple, built by the great king Jayavaraman VII, with 54 towers each with 4 huge faces to reflect the Buddhist and Hindu influence of the time. See the intricate bas-relief carvings depicting life and battles. Just shortly walking, we are visiting Baphoun, Phimeanakas, Terrace of Elephant and Terrace of Leper King. Then, we continue to visit Bakheng hill for sunset, Free buffet dinner apsara traditional dancing performance at one of restaurant in town, dinner, back to hotel.
DAY 2: BANTEAY SREI, BANTEAY SAMRE AND GRAND CIRCUIT
After breakfast,we will departure to the north of Siem Reap to visit the citadel of woman –Banteay Srei – jewel indisputable of the Khmer art: entirely have been constructed by hard pink sandstone, wonderfully sculpted, perfectly preserved and restored. On the return trip we’ll stop to see some of the local people making sugar palm and visit Banteay Samre temple which is temple similar to Angkor Wat except it always has less tourists, lunch, After lunch, you will start with a visit to Pre Rup temple will be visited later on. These two temples were built by the same king ‘Rajendra Varman II (944-967) to dedicate his ancestors and heading to visit Mebon. You will continue to Neak Poan Temple, which was one of the 102 ancient hospitals of King Jayavarman VII who built this hospital temple for taking care people’s health and the last stop visit Preah Khan temple, which was known as an old temporary city of king Jayavarman VII (1181-1218), dinner, back to hotel.
DAY 3: KULEN MOUNTAIN, GRAND RECLINING BUDDHA,WATERFALL
After breakfast at your hotel, we will departure to the north of Siem Reap town.It is approximately 58 Km from Siem Reap town. you are visiting “Kulen Mountain”, Thousand Linga River, carving on river bed, Grand Reclining Buddha, and enjoy your swimming at waterfall.
DAY 4: COOKING CLASS AND CAMBODIA CULTURAL VILLAGE
After breakfast, you will have a cooking class in a restaurant school; you will learn how to make good Khmer foods and also test all of them. Then, bring what you learned here to your home when return, lunch,after lunch, you will take pleasure in “Cambodian Cultural Village” This is one of the best performances of Khmer culture in Cambodia. In Cambodia, both Khmer, ethnic and Chinese cultural shows are presented in different beautifully-decorated villages and there are also various dance shows, wedding ceremonies and Khmer & Chinese circusesthat are performed by Khmer dancers including as many as 50 to 200 people, dinner, back to hotel.
DAY 5: DOM DAK, BENG MEALEA, QUARRY, WAR AND NATIONAL MUSEUM
After breakfast at your hotel, you will leave from town to visit one of the local markets called Dom Dak then continue to Beng Mealea temple which is the temple was sprawling by the jungles; it is untouched and just opened for all tourists to visit. Then you are going on to discovery about O Thmor Dab ‘Quarry’, the quarry of all temples in Cambodia. You will see the traces of Khmer ancestors cut the sand stone to build all temples in the areas, lunch, After lunch, we will be back to visit War Museum Baddish Pagoda with a killing field site, and the Angkor National Museum,dinner, back to hotel.
DAY 6: ANGKOR WAT, TA PROHM, ARTISAN D’ANGKOR AND TONLE SAP LAKE
Early morning start to visit the majestic Angkor Wat for the sunrise and learn about the Khmer life of this period. Stroll through the vast hallway lined with thousands of intricate stone craving that depict the life and battles of the Khmer empire and also discover many small shines still used every day by the local people and. Then, we have breakfast at a restaurant in front of the Angkor Wat continue to visit Ta Phrom, this temple is considered to be one of the jewels, with it overgrown jungle trees giving it a haunting and relaxing atmosphere also well-known because this temple featured in the Hollywood movie ’Tomb Raider’, lunch, In the afternoon, you will start with a visit to Artisan d’ Angkor (art school) which is famous for its traditional craft products such as stone carving, wood carving, lacquering, gilding, and silk processing. Then, you will be out for a visit by boat, you will discover the great lake Tonle Sap: real Interior Ocean where there are a lot of fish which exported by the multiple villages of fishermen who you have got the occasion to approach. You will visit as well a fish & Crocodile Farms and wait for sunset over the Tonle Sap Lake, dinner, back to hotel.
DAY 7: PREAH VIHEAR AND KOH KER TEMPLES
Early morning, you will visit the wonderful temple of Preah Vihea, which was built on the peak of the mountain near the border of Thailand – Cambodia. The tour will depart early in the morning and be completed later in the evening by returning to Siem Reap for accommodation. Temple of Preah Vihear, which took over 300 years to complete construction by some khmer famous king, was first constructed from 893 by King Yasovarman who led the country from 889 to probably 910. The majority of the building of the temple was created by King Suryavarman I (1002 – 1049) and finally the temple was completed during the reign of Great King Suryavarman II (1113 – 1150), the famous king who was the founder of the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap province.lunch, after lunch, On the return trip, you will visit the group of Koh Ker temples. You will discover ancient capital of Cambodia during the 10th century. Jayavarman IV (922-944) built Prasat Thom on 7 storey Pyramidal base, dinner, back to hotel.
